What you can expect from us ......
Unlike some studios, we allow plenty of time for both to have your pictures taken and view your pictures.
Sessions are by appointment only, and we never book more than 4 in a day.
Session times are booked to suit you, with special attention given to the needs of Babies feeding and sleeping times.
Our aim is to make your session as enjoyable and as relaxed as possible.
The photo session
All our regular sessions are £30 (or £25 for a Pet) which includes a 10x8” photo of your choice.
Location sessions incur an additional charge that we can go over in person with you.
Typically a session will last from 45 minutes to an hour.
Headshots for work/Likedin/Dating sites etc. £25 for 3 digital images (£5 each for any extra images)
What happens after the viewing?
About a week after your pictures are taken, you will come back for your viewing.
Your fabulous pictures will be shown on our large screen and a couple of ‘mock’ collages will be shown to give you an idea of how your pictures might look as a series of images in the same frame.
It is our policy to avoid the ‘Hard Sell’ treating our viewings merely as a chance to guide you through the different options
and to offer our professional advice on what works, and what doesn’t.
We are not there to try and persuade you to buy the biggest frames.
All that we ask, is that you make your decision about what you would like, on the day of the veiwing.
How much are your photos?
As a guide, our prints start at £15 for a 7x5” print, £25 for an 8x10“,
our ‘Hang on the wall portraits and Collages’ start at £75 for an 8x10” in a box frame, or in a 12x14“ frame.
The rest of our price list is long and varied, so we prefer to go through this bit with you in person at the viewing stage.
It isn’t some big secret though, if you want to discuss something specific you may have in mind, please ring us for a chat.
The most you can spend on a single piece of wall art is £350 but you can spend as little or as much as you want.
How long will my viewing session last?
This can, and usually does take longer than the actual photo sessions themselves, but most of this depends on how good
you are at making decisions. Most people are finished within an hour and a half.
What shall we wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. Smart Casual is the norm, but avoid tops with busy patterns or prominent logos
which might date the picture.
For Group photos - we suggest you try and dress ‘as a Team’ meaning - it looks better if you all wear clothing that as an element of one colour, blue, or perhaps white, for instance. You can, of course, wear complimentary colours as well, such as Green and Red and Blue for instance.
Bright colours are good, and so are pastels, but one or the other, is best. One person wearing a solid red in a group of non bright colours for instance, will stand out like a sore thumb.
White tops with denim has in the past,been a traditional favourite and still works just as well today.
Feel free to bring along any props or toys/teddy bears etc for the kiddies, you may feel will enhance the session.
By all means, bring a change of outfit with you, if you feel like having a choice of looks.
Birthday Portrait Parties
A novel idea, and a great way for your child to have fun and celebrate their birthday with their friends.
Your child, and up to 8 of their friends, can come along to the studio, pose away to their hearts content and have photos taken in the process.
Flattering individual pictures of the Birthday Girl or Boy will be taken alongside a bunch of informal group poses.
You can make the session more interesting by bringing along accessories such as sunglasses, hats, wigs, fun clothes (onezees, T-shirts, shorts, seasonal outfits etc).
Most guests come along with a ‘Casual look’ with the option of an outfit change, sometimes dressed up in their elegant Party frocks, other times,
just their Pyjamas and Onezees.
Each session will last about one and a half hours, which will include a half-time break for some refreshing Fruit squash and fresh popcorn.
Age range for our parties tend to be between 7-15 years old but can also be adapted for ‘Hen nights’, ‘pre Prom nights’ and even ‘Stag do’s’.
Why not invite Brothers and Sisters along, perhaps dad as well, and have a family photo at the same time.
As part of the package,
each guest will receive an 8x6” print in a folder of their group, and the birthday Girl (or boy) will receive an additional 8x6” print of themselves.
You will also have the option of buying the images from the Party for just £20.
These will be fully edited and enhanced, and you will be able to print your own photos from them if you wished,
Cost of all this fun and activity is £11 per person with a maximum of £99 for 9 people.
Minimum charge is £55. A Deposit of 50% is normally required to secure the date.
