Mark and Kirsty
I felt very honoured to be asked to photograph Kirsty and Mark at their wedding this summer. Not only did we have two beautiful people to photograph we had the lovely backdrop of The Priory Church and it’s gardens followed by the grounds and house at Orton Hall in Peterborough. I have to say Kirsty wore the most wonderful dress. The best I have seen in a long time. Kirsty looked in every way, the perfect Princess– Mark was a lucky man!
After some pictures getting ready at the home, we went the very short distance to the church followed by pictures in the Vicarage gardens next door. Always liked this spot with its apple trees and large lawn providing the perfect backdrop for my photos.
Reception was held at Orton Hall in Peterborough, one of the best and most popular Wedding venues in the area and rightly so. The staff there are brilliant and operate like a well oiled machine.
There are extensive grounds all around the house for taking pictures and of course for guests to enjoy. I particularly like the uber tall Redwood style trees between the main road and the hall.
Delicious food was followed by some well crafted witty and humorousspeeches then outside for a communal ‘Sparkler session’ bringing out the kid in everybody (nice cheap entertainment for those of you out there not wanting to push the boat out).
Looking forward to making up their album.
